Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly among a host of clubs interested in Le Havre defender Arouna Sangante.
The 21-year-old is currently appearing in his first top-flight campaign after helping his club win promotion to Ligue 1 last season.
Sangante made 35 appearances in the second tier during the 2022-23 campaign, as Le Havre won the Ligue 2 title to end their 14-year wait for top-flight football.
The youngster, who has been entrusted with the Le Havre captaincy, has continued to play a prominent role this season, starting 14 of the club's 17 league matches.
Sangante has played his part in a defence that has conceded just 19 goals in 17 matches, leaving Le Havre with the best defensive record of all the teams sitting outside of the top seven.

Despite being halfway through his first top-flight season, Sangante is already attracting interest from a number of sides.
According to Football Insider, Tottenham are among several European clubs that are keeping tabs on the young defender.
The report claims that Spurs have sent scouts to watch his last four home matches, as they weigh up a potential move.
Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou is keen to strengthen his defence, having seen his two first-choice centre-backs Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero affected by injury.
While Spurs may be among Sangante's admirers, Le Havre president Jean-Michael Roussier has revealed that as many as seven English sides are monitoring the player's situation.

"It is true we have had some interest in Sangante and mainly from English Premier League clubs," Roussier told Football Insider.
"I believe as many as seven English clubs have been to watch Sangante here in Le Havre and also at away games. We received an offer from a club, but it was not suitable for us.
"In a perfect world if we receive a suitable offer in January that suits all parties, then hopefully we can have Sangante back on loan until June so he can finish the season with Le Havre."
As it stands, Sangante is expected to be back in action when Le Havre return from the winter break for a Coupe de France meeting with Caen on January 7.
