Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly failed with a late approach for Atletico Madrid's Yannick Carrasco.
Following their failure to capture initial target Adama Traore, Antonio Conte was said to be keen to add the left-sided Belgian international to his ranks, with a late bid submitted to the Spanish champions.
According to the Daily Mail, talks have broken down between the clubs, with Diego Simeone's side unwilling to discuss a deal on deadline day.
The Italian boss has been able to bolster his squad, though, with the Lilywhites confirming a double swoop on Juventus, with midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur and winger Dejan Kulusevski both arriving at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium late in the window, while Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso have departed on loan deals.
After featuring 30 times in Atleti's La Liga triumph last season, Carrasco has turned out 20 times in the Spanish top flight for Los Colchoneros so far this term, netting two goals and providing five assists.
