Ivica Olic hints at Wolfsburg stay

Ivica Olic says that he is likely to remain with Wolfsburg rather than join Stoke City.

Reported Stoke City transfer target Ivica Olic has suggested that he is prepared to remain with Wolfsburg next season.

The Croatian striker's current deal is due to expire during the summer, which had resulted in speculation that he could join Stoke on a free transfer.

However, when asked about his future by Kicker-Sportmagazin, the 34-year-old responded: "My thought is to stay on at Wolfsburg. I am expecting to remain at Volkswagen-Arena and be a part of this squad also in the new Bundesliga 1 season."

Olic has scored 12 goals from his 28 outings this term.
