Watford winger Gerard Deulofeu could reportedly be sidelined for more than six weeks after suffering an injury during his side's 1-0 win over Everton last weekend.
The Spaniard, who is on loan at the Hornets from Barcelona, picked up a stress fracture of his foot against his former club, putting his season in jeopardy.
Watford manager Javi Gracia remains upbeat about Deulofeu's recovery prospects, but according to the Hertfordshire Mercury, the injury could keep him out of action for between six and eight weeks.
"I think the doctor can explain better than me, but I'm going to try," Gracia is quoted as saying.
"He has a stress fracture of his foot. I'm optimistic he'll recover as soon as possible, but I don't know how long he'll be out. It depends on many things. I think he will come back with us before finishing the season."
Andre Carrillo and Dodi Lukebakio are among the candidates who could fill in for Deulofeu on the right flank.
