Alan Irvine delighted with West Bromwich Albion improvement

West Bromwich Albion boss Alan Irvine believes that his side are getting the rewards that they deserve following victories over Burnley and Tottenham Hotspur.

West Bromwich Albion head coach Alan Irvine has expressed his belief that his side are finally getting the rewards that they deserve.

The Baggies have put a slow start to the season behind them with back-to-back Premier League victories at Tottenham Hotspur last week and against Burnley at The Hawthorns on Sunday.

"We have had a really good week. Everybody is feeling very pleased with themselves within the club," Irvine told talkSPORT.

"The players are getting their rewards for all the hard work they have been doing. I said before the Tottenham game we felt as if we were going in the right direction.

"We felt we had a full squad to pick from and we had options now. I have to give the players a lot of credit because they have worked really, really well."

Irvine's side have now moved up to 10th in the table.
