Sports Mole previews Newcastle United's trip to Wigan Athletic on Sunday afternoon.

Wigan Athletic host Newcastle United in the Premier League on Sunday hoping to bring the club's impressive FA Cup form into their league campaign.

The Latics beat Everton 3-0 last weekend to book a place in the semi-finals of the competition for the first time in their history.

However, Roberto Martinez's men are struggling in the league as they sit in the relegation zone, three points adrift of safety.

Newcastle also come into the match off the back of cup success, having progressed into the last eight of the Europa League thanks to Thursday's 1-0 victory over Anzhi Makhachkala.

Alan Pardew's side have won four of their last six league games to move nine points clear of the bottom three.

Hatem Ben Arfa has been ruled out for the rest of the season, while Tim Krul and Fabriccio Coloccini are not expected to be back in action before the end of April. Rob Elliot and Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa will keep their places in the starting XI.

Ryo Miyaichi and Callum McManaman could both miss out for Wigan after picking up injuries at Goodison Park last weekend.
