Jamie O'Hara hits back at Leon Knight over Twitter abuse

Wolves midfielder Jamie O'Hara hits back at Leon Knight after the former Chelsea man abused his wife on Twitter.

Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Jamie O'Hara has hit back at Leon Knight after the former Chelsea player abused his wife on Twitter.

Knight launched into a tirade aimed at Danielle Lloyd last night, calling her a "hoe" and claiming that she trapped O'Hara into their relationship.

O'Hara responded, calling the 29-year-old a "low life" and "a disgrace".

"Follow me and I'll direct message you my number, anytime mate, your a disgrace to your name go and do something with your life," the Wolves man tweeted.

"I don't have time for low life's who sit and abuse women behind a laptop.

"Some people really are a disgrace aren't they, sums up how bad there lives must be to have to comment on other peoples family's, #disgrace."

O'Hara then poked fun at Knight's jibes, saying that he was "Off to bed some of us have got work in the morning, gonna cuddle up to my hoe housewife hahaha and my two amazing boys, goodnight peeps."

Meanwhile, Danielle Lloyd was almost pushed off Twitter by the abuse, saying: "Sadly I might be coming off twitter as I can't take much more abuse from scum when all am trying to do is be a good mum & wife I love all my fans and wish and its shame I might have to do this but I've got to put my family first Thanks for all your support Xxx."

The former Miss England performed a U-turn later, however, saying: "Right I've had a good chat to a very good friend of mine & decided I won't be coming off twitter am a strong women & I won't let anyone bring me down I have a lovely husband & to beautiful kids and that's all that matters in life love my family & my fans thank u X"

Knight was released by Glentoran earlier this summer and is currently without a club.
