Catalans Dragons thrash Bradford Bulls

Catalans Dragons thrash Bradford Bulls 46-4 in this afternoon's Super League clash at the Stade Gilbert Brutus.

Catalans Dragons have thrashed Bradford Bulls 46-4 in this afternoon's Super League clash at the Stade Gilbert Brutus.

Full-back Morgan Escare opened the scoring in the second minute with an impressive solo run, collecting possession around 15 metres from his own line and beating several Bradford defenders before crossing the line.

Elliott Whitehead then scored his 12th Super League try of the season against his hometown club just a few minutes later when he collected possession from a kick and powered over the line.

Dragons winger Michael Oldfield was next, breaking the visitors' line to race clear from inside his own half moments later.

Escare scored his second try of the match shortly after the restart when he latched on to Ben Pomeroy's pass and ran clear past the line.

Despite Jamie Foster's consolation try in the 53rd minute, Mickael Simon, Daryl Millard, Leon Pryce and Zeb Taia weighed in with more tries for the home side to leave the Bulls reeling.

The result leaves the Bradford outfit on zero points.
