England head coach Steve McNamara has insisted that his side can beat New Zealand in this weekend's Rugby League World Cup semi-final.
The two nations go head-to-head at Wembley Stadium on Saturday with a place in the final against either Australia or Fiji at stake.
Despite seeing his team come up against the defending champions, McNamara is confident that they can cause an upset.
"Not just reaching the final, but winning the final is the goal," he told Sky Sports News. "To do that we obviously have to get past a very good New Zealand team this week.
"We are third-favourites in this tournament. New Zealand are favourites for this game, but we think we've got the ammunition, personnel and plan to beat New Zealand."
England last reached the final of the Rugby League World Cup in 1995 before losing out to Australia.
