England full-back Ben Foden has warned his teammates that France are capable of "causing carnage" ahead of the World Cup quarter-final showdown on Saturday.
Les Bleus scraped through to the knockout stages after they suffered a shock defeat against Tonga, and there have been rumours that the players have fallen out with coach Marc Lievremont.
Despite the tumultuous nature of the French camp, Foden believes that they are still a threat.
"We [are entering] a massive danger zone," said Foden. "They've got players who are capable of causing carnage out there.
"They are a great team who can turn it on so it's important we take it to them, really start the game with a bang and score some points in the first 20 minutes and let them know they are in a tough battle."
Foden scored during England's victory against the French in their Six Nations match in February.
