Wales have secured their third Grand Slam in eight seasons after beating France 16-9 in the Six Nations at the Millenium Stadium this afternoon.
Scrum-half Dimitri Yachvili fired France in front with ten minutes gone to give the visitors a three-point lead, before Wales wing Alex Cuthbert capitalised on a turnover to score the first five points of the game with a successful conversion.
Fullback Leigh Halfpenny then added his tally by kicking his first penalty of the afternoon to increase the home team's lead at the break.
Lionel Beauxis's penalty momentarily reduced the deficit after the restart, before Halfpenny responded in kind.
Wales were able to hold on for much of the second period, before Yachvili's second three points of the afternoon closed the gap to four with less than ten minutes to go.
However, Halfpenny responded by completing his third penalty of the game to seal the game for the hosts.
