Novak Djokovic makes it through to the Cincinnati Open final after semi-final opponent Tomas Berdych withdraws at the end of the first set through injury.

Novak Djokovic will face Andy Murray in the Cincinnati Open final after the Serb's semi-final opponent, Tomas Berdych, retired at the end of the first set through injury.

The world number one had taken the first set against the Czech qualifier 7-5 before the withdrawl.

There had been doubts as to whether Berdych would be fit enough to participate in the semi-final after he appeared to be in pain during his quarter-final victory over Roger Federer.

The Cincinnati Open final will take place tomorrow (Sunday).
