Czech Republic's Tomas Berdych has progressed through to the Shanghai Masters third round with a comfortable victory over Italy's Andreas Seppi.
The 2010 Wimbledon runner-up was never troubled by the world number 26, as he eased to a 6-3 6-3 win.
A solitary break of serve in the opening set was enough for Berdych as Seppi struggled to make an impact on his opponent's serve.
It was a similar case in the second set as Seppi could only muster one break point, which he couldn't convert, and Berdych sealed a straight-sets victory.
He will now play American Sam Querrey in the next round, after he defeated Kei Nishikori.
