Roger Federer reveals that he is pleased with the way that he has started his Wimbledon campaign.

World number three Roger Federer has revealed that he has been "very pleased" with his performances at Wimbledon so far.

The six-time champion moved into round three this afternoon thanks to a 6-1 6-3 6-2 win over Italy's Fabio Fognini on Centre Court.

Following that victory over Fognini, Federer told reporters that he is happy with the way that he has opened up his Wimbledon campaign.

"I'm very pleased. It wasn't that easy a match," he said. "I played a great first round and now a great second round.

"I'm serving well, moving well and all of a sudden you can be winning quite comfortably."

Federer will next be on court on Friday afternoon.
