Andy Murray is through to the fourth round at Wimbledon after beating Spain's Tommy Robredo in straight sets.

Andy Murray has secured his place in the fourth round at Wimbledon with a straight-sets win over Tommy Robredo.

The US Open champion claimed two early breaks against the Spaniard, but the 31-year-old got a break back, forcing Murray to attack again, claiming the first set 6-2.

The Briton went a break up at the start of the second, but Robredo managed to find his rhythm on serve to keep the set alive, before bringing up a break point while Murray was serving for the set.

However, the second seed was able to save it with a forehand before clinching a two-set lead following a long rally.

Robredo was able to stick with Murray for much of the third set, but the world number two was able to get a break to take a 6-5 lead, before comfortably serving out the match.

Murray will play either Mikhail Youzhny or Viktor Troicki in the last 16.
