Arsenal team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Sheffield United

Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Monday's Premier League fixture with Sheffield United.

Arsenal return to action following the international break with a trip to newly-promoted Sheffield United.

The Blades have performed admirably since returning to the Premier League, sitting 13th in the table, and have not yet lost an away game, conceding just three in four games on the road.

However, their home form has been poor, with three losses from four games, and third-placed Arsenal visit Bramall Lane off the back of an eight-game unbeaten run in all competitions, beating Bournemouth 1-0 last time out.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest injury and suspension news for the Gunners ahead of the game against the Blades.

Alexandre Lacazette

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: October 27 (vs. Crystal Palace)

The Frenchman has returned to the training ground as he steps up his recovery from injury, but it is unlikely that he will be risked against the Blades and is expected to make his comeback at the Emirates when Palace visit.

Reiss Nelson

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: November 23 (vs. Southampton)

The young winger was forced to withdraw from England's Under-21 squad with a knee injury and will hope he does not fall too far behind the likes of Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli in the pecking order while he is on the sidelines.

ARSENAL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Arsenal have no players suspended for the fixture on Monday night.
