FC Twente crash to heavy home defeat at hands of ADO Den Haag

ADO Den Haag run riot as they score four goals to see off FC Twente in the Eredivisie.

FC Twente have suffered a heavy 4-1 defeat to ADO Den Haag in the Eredivise tonight.

The hosts fell behind to a Mike Havenaar goal, before Ruben Schaken doubled the lead 14 minutes later.

Twente got back into the contest after the break when Hakim Ziyech bent a free kick into the top corner, and the home fans roared their team on in search of a leveller.

Ziyech almost found it with a shot which flew marginally wide, before Den Haag hit Twente against the run of play.

Vito Wormgoor gave Den Haag comfort with a smart finish inside the box, before Edouard Duplan confirmed the win eight minutes later.
