Lacina Traore came off the bench to help Anzhi Makhachkala to a win over 10-man CSKA Moscow at the Khazar Stadium today.
The two sides went in level on the scoreboard but not in number after Aleksandrs Cauna was sent off by Vladislav Bezborodov for a second bookable offence just before the interval.
Traore replaced Oleg Shatov at the break and it took the Ivorian just 12 minutes to make an impact, heading home the first past Igor Akinfeev.
Anzhi wrapped up the points with 12 minutes to play when Mbark Boussoufa found the net from a couple of yards after Samuel Eto'o had wormed his way past a couple of challenges.
Victory for Anzhi means they extend their unbeaten home run to 17 games and now join CSKA at the top of the Russian Premier League on 40 points. CSKA top the table courtesy of their goal difference, which is one better than the mega-rich Anzhi.
