Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey faces four to six weeks out of action

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger confirms that Aaron Ramsey will be out for four to six weeks.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that midfielder Aaron Ramsey will be out of action for between four and six weeks after suffering an injury setback earlier this week.

The Wales international has not played for the Gunners since the North London outfit's 3-1 win over West Ham United on Boxing Day.

Ramsey was expected to return to the side in Tuesday night's 2-2 draw against Southampton, but the midfielder suffered a knock during Monday's training session.

It has now been confirmed by Wenger in this morning's press conference that he is expected to be without Ramsey's services for up to six weeks.

Arsenal have dropped down to second in the Premier League table, one point adrift of leaders Manchester City.
