Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah reportedly informs the club of his desire to leave, with Crystal Palace said to be interested in the striker.

Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah has reportedly told the Gunners that he wants to leave the club.

The striker sees his current deal at the Emirates Stadium expire in the summer, with Crystal Palace among the clubs linked with a move for the Englishman as a result.

According to Daily Mail, he has now expressed his desire to leave the Gunners, despite Mikel Arteta's rumoured attempts to convince him to extend his stay.

The 22-year-old is said to be pursuing an exit to further his career, having not made a Premier League appearance for Arsenal so far this season.

After a loan spell with Leeds United in the 2019-20 season was cut short, the Englishman featured in 30 top-flight games over the course of 18 months, including 17 appearances last term - in which he netted two goals.
