Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly entered the race to sign Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Ligue 1 giants are on the lookout for a new striker with record goalscorer Edinson Cavani looking certain to leave the club either this month or when his contract expires at the end of the season.
Aubameyang is also approaching the end of his contract and has so far rejected Arsenal's attempts to extend his terms beyond the current end date of 2021.
The 30-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona after Luis Suarez was ruled out for four months through injury, but Footmercato claims that PSG are now also interested in signing him to replace Cavani.
The report adds that the French champions have already made contact with Aubameyang's representatives over the possibility of a January loan deal with the option to make the move permanent in the summer.
Arsenal have repeatedly insisted that their top scorer is not for sale, though, while Aubameyang himself has also publicly declared his intention to stay despite reports claiming that he would be interested in a switch to Barcelona.
The Gabon international has scored 16 goals across all competition this season, including 14 in 22 Premier League games.
