Real Madrid will reportedly block any end-of-season exit from the club for outcast striker Luka Jovic.
The 22-year-old has scored just twice in 15 La Liga appearances since arriving from Eintracht Frankfurt in a £52m deal last summer.
Jovic's situation at the Bernabeu has been described as a "crisis" by Serbia international teammate Aleksandar Mitrovic, but AS reports that Madrid are not looking to sell.
Despite strong rumoured interest from Arsenal, the Spanish outlet indicates that Los Blancos have confidence that Jovic will improve next season and justify his tag as one of Europe's most wanted players 12 months ago.
Madrid are unlikely to seriously strengthen their frontline in the next transfer window, it is suggested, as top targets Erling Braut Haaland and Kylian Mbappe are too costly.
