Roma are reportedly preparing to challenge Arsenal for Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno.
Leno is believed to be Arsenal's number one goalkeeping target this summer, and it was reported last week that the Gunners had agreed a £22m deal for the German.
However, according to Premium Sport, Roma are preparing for the departure of Brazil stopper Alisson Becker, who has been strongly linked with Real Madrid and Liverpool.
The report claims that Roma will move for Leno should Alisson leave the club, with Arsenal facing the possibility of losing out in the race to sign the 26-year-old.
Leno joined Leverkusen from Stuttgart in the latter stages of 2011.
