Arsenal attacker Santi Cazorla hints at Villarreal return

Arsenal attacker Santi Cazorla hints that he could return to former club Villarreal before hanging up his boots.

Arsenal attacker Santi Cazorla has claimed that he could return to Villarreal before the end of his career.

The Spanish international, who has been out of action since November with a knee problem, has had two separate spells with Villarreal, totalling seven seasons.

The 31-year-old is not in a rush to leave the Emirates Stadium, but has refused to rule out a return to the Yellow Submarine at some point in the future.

"I do not rule out returning to Villarreal one day. Everybody in the world knows that Villarreal are a very special club to me," Cazorla told AS.

Cazorla, who is expected to travel to Euro 2016 with the Spain squad, has scored 27 times in 167 appearances for Arsenal.
