Mauro Zarate's agent has urged Lazio to terminate his client's contract.
The 26-year-old, who has made just one appearance this season, spent last term on loan at Inter Milan after falling out of favour at the Stadio Olimpico.
According to talkSPORT, news of his unrest will be of interest to Premier League clubs Sunderland, Arsenal, Liverpool and Stoke City.
"We have called on the club to terminate the contract and we have many documents at our disposal to make it effective," his agent Luis Ruzzi told reporters.
Zarate spent time on loan with Birmingham City in 2008 before joining the Biancocelesti.
