Former Barcelona attacker Lionel Messi reportedly has no plans to return to the Catalan giants in the future.
The Argentine was willing to take a 50% pay cut to extend his stay at Camp Nou this summer, but La Liga's financial stipulations made it impossible for him to remain in Catalonia.
Messi has since endured a slow start to life at Paris Saint-Germain, and Barca president Joan Laporta has tipped the 34-year-old to follow in Xavi and Dani Alves's footsteps with regards to a possible return.
However, AS claims that Messi has no interest in making a sensational return to Camp Nou, be it as a player or in a managerial/backroom role.
The report adds that Messi is solely focused on achieving success with Mauricio Pochettino's side, and the six-time Ballon d'Or winner's family are now settled in the French capital.
Messi got off the mark for the 2021-22 Ligue 1 season at the sixth attempt in the weekend's 3-1 win over Nantes.
