Barcelona target Robert Lewandowski has reportedly refused to attend Bayern Munich's pre-season training.
Speculation about a possible move to Barcelona has been rife after the Polish international previously stated in a press conference that his "era" at the German champions was "over".
There have also been fears amongst the Bayern hierarchy that Lewandowski is prepared to buy himself out of his contract to seal a move to the Catalan giants.
According to Marca, the transfer saga has taken another twist, with Lewandowski reportedly refusing to attend Bayern's pre-season training, which is set to begin in the second week of July.
The report suggests that Lewandowski's refusal to return to Bayern ahead of the new season is an attempt to pressure the Bavarians into accepting an offer from Barcelona.
The striker, whose current Bayern deal runs until 2023, scored 50 goals in 46 appearances for Julian Nagelsmann's side in the 2021-22 season.
