Brad Potts has admitted to finding life "hard" at Blackpool this term, but says that there is now a real feel-good factor starting to emerge around the club.
The Tangerines ended a five-game winless run last weekend by picking up a shock 1-0 victory away at Scunthorpe United.
That maiden triumph has helped to reinvigorate the mood in the Blackpool camp, and Potts - who scored the winner at Glanford Park - hopes that his side can now push up the League One table.
"It's been hard. It's not nice coming in every day when you're losing," he is quoted as saying by the Blackpool Gazette. "The win on Saturday has made a real difference.
"The lads have been buzzing. It's been hard to move away but I'm starting to settle in now. It's taken a bit of time but the lads have been great, and if we start to win games now that will make everything better.
"If we are winning, then there's a better feeling around the place. If we can push on now, it will make everyone's lives much easier and we can be happy."
Blackpool remain in the bottom four ahead of their trip to Gillingham on Saturday.
