Cardiff City owner Vincent Tan has reportedly lifted his threat to sack manager Malky Mackay after chairman Mehmet Dalman instigated peace talks between the duo.
The 41-year-old's reign in South Wales has been subject of intense speculation as of late after Tan reportedly issued the Scot with 'resign or be sacked' ultimatum during the week, fuelling talks of an imminent departure due to a worsening working relationship between the pair.
Nevertheless, according to BBC Sport, Dalman is believed to have adopted the role of peacemaker in the feud and established a line of communication between both parties in an attempt to forge a potential reconciliation.
The Bluebirds, who went down 3-1 to Liverpool at Anfield yesterday, sit 15th in the Premier League table, three points clear of the relegation zone.
