Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata says that he can "do better" after scoring six goals in as many appearances this season.

Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata has insisted that he can improve despite already scoring important goals in the early stages of the season.

The Spain international, who moved to Stamford Bridge from Real Madrid for a reported £58m fee in the summer, has netted six times in as many outings.

On Saturday, the 24-year-old, who was also linked to Manchester United, scored his first hat-trick for the club in a 4-0 victory over Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium.

"I am happy with my start in the Premier League but I can do better," the London Evening Standard quotes Morata as saying. "I had two [more] chances at the end of the game against Stoke. I also need to improve my physical condition to be as good as possible."

Antonio Conte's side currently sit third in the Premier League table, three points behind Manchester City and Manchester United.
