Chelsea defender Papy Djilobodji could be on his way to Werder Bremen on loan after failing to break into the first team at Stamford Bridge.
The 27-year-old arrived at the West London club from Nantes in August, but has played just one minute of football for the Blues, in a Capital One Cup game.
Bremen chief executive Thomas Eichin has told Bild that the club are in "negotiations" with Chelsea regarding a loan deal.
When Djilobodji signed for the English champions under former manager Jose Mourinho, the Portuguese coach suggested that it was not his decision to bring the defender to the club.
