Chelsea have reportedly decided to make another offer for Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic in the region of £8m.
The Premier League champions have been repeatedly linked with the Potters shot-stopper as Jose Mourinho looks to add another goalkeeper to his squad after allowing Petr Cech to join Arsenal.
It was suggested that Chelsea had failed with a bid of £6m for the 28-year-old, but The Telegraph claims that they are not willing to give up on their pursuit of Begovic.
The report suggests that the two clubs have held talks over a possible transfer in the last 24 hours and Chelsea are likely to respond to the negotiations with another bid.
Begovic has just 12 months remaining on his current deal.
