Juventus have reportedly identified Chelsea midfielder Jorginho as a potential transfer target ahead of the next transfer window.
While the Italian is known to have a close relationship with Juve boss Maurizio Sarri, it has been previously claimed that the 28-year-old was settled at Stamford Bridge.
However, according to The National, Sarri wants to work with the defensive-minded player for a third time in his career.
The report says that Juventus officials have already held discussions with the representatives of Jorginho, who still has over three years left on his contract.
The Serie A leaders allegedly intend to tempt Chelsea into a sale with an offer of €40m (£34.94m), a figure significantly lower than the £50m which Chelsea paid Napoli in 2018.
Nevertheless, the current financial climate and emergence of academy graduate Billy Gilmour may lead to Chelsea consider a bid of that size.
