Everton are reportedly considering an offer for Stoke City defender Robert Huth.
The German centre0half only has one year left on his existing Potters contract and could be available in a cut-price deal.
Toffees boss David Moyes is apparently keen on Huth as a replacement for veteran Sylvian Distin, who is expected to leave Goodison Park in the summer.
Opposite number Tony Pulis has stressed his desire to keep the 27-year-old at the Britannia Stadium, but Huth is apparently after an improved contract.
Should a new deal not be agreed, Everton are ready to pounce and offer him a more lucrative salary, according to The Mirror.
Huth made 48 appearances for Stoke in all competitions this season.
