Fulham owner Shahid Khan has moved to play down speculation that manager Martin Jol is under pressure.
The Whites have won just three matches this season, while last term they were involved in the relegation battle for a time.
However, ahead of this afternoon's clash with Manchester United at Craven Cottage, Khan has insisted that he will not make a "rash" decision over Jol's future with the Londoners.
"It is very peculiar that managers are under so much pressure after a few games. I have an open line with Martin Jol and the relationship is steady. We all have strengths and weaknesses as human beings. When times are hard the solution is not doing something rash," he told BBC Sport.
Fifty-seven-year-old Jol took charge of Fulham in the summer of 2011.
