Fulham manager Kit Symons is adamant that his team performed well, despite losing 1-0 at Watford.
The Cottagers remain two places above the Championship relegation zone following the defeat at Vicarage Road.
However, Symons believes that there are plenty of positives to take from the game.
He is quoted by the Watford Observer as saying: "Defensively I thought we did quite well tonight and limited their shots.
"We had more shots than them, more shots on target and better possession, more crosses, so all those things look great but ultimately it's the scoreline at the end of the day I'm really worried about and that was disappointing for us. But it was a decent performance.
"I've got no problem with the way we performed tonight and that's Derby now on Saturday, Watford today, and we were better than Derby and equally as good as Watford today so it's sort of frustrating we are where we are but that tells the truth."
Fulham have the opportunity to bounce back when they face high-flying Bournemouth at Craven Cottage on Friday evening.
