Hull City have reportedly contacted Gianfranco Zola over their managerial vacancy.
With less than two weeks remaining until the start of the new Premier League season, the Tigers are still without a manager after Steve Bruce quit his post last month.
A number of candidates have been linked with the role, including Wales manager Chris Coleman, former Everton boss Roberto Martinez and ex-Newcastle United manager Steve McClaren.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Hull have now got in touch with Zola about taking on the job, a month after he was dismissed by Qatari side Al-Arabi.
Zola has previous managerial experience in England with West Ham United and Watford, as well as a short stint in charge of Serie A side Cagliari.
