David Meyler wants new Hull City deal

Hull City midfielder David Meyler reveals that he is currently in talks with the Tigers over a new contract at the KC Stadium.

David Meyler has revealed that he is desperate to sign a new contract with Hull City.

The 26-year-old initially joined the Tigers on loan from Sunderland in 2012, before making the move permanent one year later.

As it stands, the Republic of Ireland international will be out of contract this summer, but he has said that talks over an extension are currently in process.

"I'm in talks about a new deal. My new baby will be born in Hull and I want to stay," he told the Hull Daily Mail.

Meyler has scored three times in 19 appearances for Steve Bruce's side this season.
