Leicester City dominate the first half at the Reebok Stadium but fail to make a breakthrough against Bolton Wanderers.

Despite plenty of goalmouth action, neither Bolton Wanderers nor Leicester City have managed to make a breakthrough in the first half at the Reebok Stadium.

Anthony Knockaert went close to breaking the deadlock with a speculative effort from 25 yards out but his strike flew wide of the target.

Leicester were frustrated in their attempts to open the scoring in the early stages by the in-form Adam Bogdan, as the Hungarian showed his ability with a superb save to keep out Martin Waghorn's powerful strike.

Bolton's opportunities were few and far between, with a long-range free kick from Chris Eagles that was easily saved by Kasper Schmeichel representing the closest the hosts came to a goal.

Richie de Laet was inches away from giving Leicester the lead just before the break after collecting the ball from Knockaert but his effort clipped the crossbar as Wanderers rode their luck until half-time.
