Liverpool have allowed goalkeeper Shamal George to sign a six-month loan deal with Tranmere Rovers.
The Merseyside giants have spent the summer attempting to solve issues regarding their first-team goalkeepers, but Jurgen Klopp has also made a decision regarding one of the club's prospects.
George has progressed through the youth ranks at Liverpool, while seven appearances were made for Carlisle United during the first half of the last campaign.
Newly-promoted Tranmere have now moved to sign the 20-year-old on a similar deal ahead of their return to the fourth tier, which begins on August 4.
George has already represented Tranmere this summer, having being introduced as a second-half substitute during a pre-season friendly with Fleetwood Town last weekend.
