Half-Time Report: Corentin Tolisso gives Lyon a half-time lead at Lille

Midfielder Corentin Tolisso slots Lyon into a half-time lead away at Lille in Ligue 1.

Lyon have a half-time lead away at Lille, thanks to a third-minute strike by Corentin Tolisso.

The league leaders broke the deadlock with their first attack, as Nabil Fekir set up the midfielder, who converted his cross into the bottom corner.

Lille almost levelled immediately, but Simon Kjaer's goal-bound header from the middle of the box was blocked.

The home side settled into the game nicely and they continued to pile the pressure on Lyon, as Sam Mendes's shot flew inches wide and Kevin Koubemba had a close-range shot blocked.

However, they couldn't find a breakthrough as Lyon held on to their lead.
