Luis Enrique reportedly identifies Bernardo Silva and Joao Felix as his top two transfer targets ahead of his appointment as Paris Saint-Germain head coach.

Incoming Paris Saint-Germain head coach Luis Enrique has reportedly made the signings of Manchester City's Bernardo Silva and Atletico Madrid's Joao Felix his top priorities for his first transfer window.

Enrique is expected to be confirmed as the Ligue 1 champions' new manager this week, having agreed a deal to take over from current incumbent Christophe Galtier.

The former Barcelona and Spain head coach is believed to have agreed to a two-year deal at the Parc des Princes, with the option of an additional year, as he makes his return to the dugout for the first time since the World Cup.

Enrique is already faced with numerous transfer dilemmas to solve at PSG, who are already thought to have completed deals for Milan Skriniar, Marco Asensio and Manuel Ugarte.

Midfield duo Cher Ndour and Lee Kang-in are also expected to make the move to the French capital, and according to 90min, Silva has been identified as one of Enrique's next top targets.

The Portugal international's desire to leave Man City has been known for several months now, and PSG have long been linked with a move for Silva as a possible replacement for Lionel Messi.

The 28-year-old is still under contract with the Premier League champions for another two years and has also been tipped to head to Barcelona, but the Catalan giants cannot afford a move for Silva this summer.

City are thought to be demanding a fee of £75m to sanction a sale this summer, which would not pose a problem for PSG, but they must also fend off competition from other financial powerhouses in Saudi Arabia.

Silva could supposedly be in line for an £80m-a-year deal in the Middle East, although PSG are thought to be in the driver's seat given the midfielder's desire to remain in Europe and positive relationship with football advisor Luis Campos.

The duo worked together at Monaco before Silva transferred to Man City in 2017, but the Portuguese playmaker has held fire on making a decision until PSG's new head coach is appointed.

Meanwhile, a separate report from Relevo states that Enrique is also eyeing a swoop for Atletico attacker Felix, who endured a mediocre loan spell with Chelsea in the second half of the 2022-23 season.

Felix only scored four goals in 20 games for the Blues, whose new head coach Mauricio Pochettino apparently decided against making the 23-year-old's stay permanent.

As a result, Felix is set to return to Atletico for the 2023-24 season, and he remains contracted to Diego Simeone's side for another four years, having extended his deal just before heading to Stamford Bridge.

However, the report adds that Felix is heading for the Atletico exit door this summer, and his representatives have already touched base with the PSG board of directors to gauge their interest in a possible transfer.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have also been credited with an interest in the former Benfica starlet, whose £112.9m move to Atletico in 2019 made him the fourth-most expensive player of all time.
