Jose Mourinho still unsure when Paul Pogba will return

Jose Mourinho suggests that Paul Pogba is still a few weeks away from a return to action for Manchester United, while Marcos Rojo will likely return in November.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has revealed that he still has "no idea" when influential midfielder Paul Pogba will return to action.

The France international is currently training away from the first-team squad as he continues to recover from a hamstring problem picked up against Basel on September 12.

Pogba has already missed 10 matches for the Red Devils since pulling up seven weeks ago and, despite posting positive social media updates of late, a comeback does not appear to be any nearer.

Mourinho has better news regarding the fitness of Marcos Rojo, however, who he expects to get back on the field before the end of next month.

"Marcos is training with me, albeit with certain conditions, and because he is training with me, I can say I expect him to be back after the international break," he told reporters. "I can predict that because he is training with me.

"I have no idea [about Paul's recovery]. I am not in control of his recovery process. He's not training with me. He is on individual work and when a player is on individual work and not in my group, not even in certain conditions, [I cannot predict his return]."

Rojo ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in April and has not featured for the Red Devils since.
