Alex Telles, Harry Maguire 'in Manchester United squad to face Newcastle United'

Alex Telles and Harry Maguire both travel with Manchester United for Saturday's Premier League clash with Newcastle United, according to a report.

Alex Telles and Harry Maguire have reportedly both travelled with the Manchester United squad for Saturday's Premier League clash with Newcastle United at St James' Park.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said during Friday's press conference that Maguire picked up "a knock" before receiving a red card during England's UEFA Nations League clash with Denmark on Wednesday.

However, according to the Manchester Evening News, the Red Devils captain has travelled with the squad to Newcastle, fuelling suggestions that he will be involved despite the injury and recent criticism levelled against him.

The report also claims that Telles has made the trip, with the Brazil international in line to make his debut after arriving from Porto in the final hours of the summer transfer window.

United will be without the services of Anthony Martial for this weekend's clash through suspension, though, while new arrival Edinson Cavani is unavailable due to quarantine rules.

A poor start to the 2020-21 campaign has left Solskjaer's side in 16th position in the Premier League table with just three points to show from their three matches.
