Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag has suggested that Marcus Rashford could be facing a spell on the sidelines with the problem that he suffered in the latter stages of Saturday's clash with Everton.
The Red Devils moved into third position in the Premier League table courtesy of a 2-0 victory over the Toffees, with Scott McTominay and Anthony Martial on the scoresheet at Old Trafford.
However, there was concern in the latter stages when Rashford had to be substituted, with the England international going down the tunnel to receive treatment.
Ten Hag was questioned on the team's leading goalscorer after the clash with Sean Dyche's side, and the Dutchman admitted that it "doesn't look well".
"We have to wait, doesn't look well. Once again that is due to the schedule. It can't be that you play three games in six days. We have to protect our players," he told BT Sport.

Rashford provided the assist for Martial to double Man United's advantage, but he was replaced in the 81st minute of the contest.
The 25-year-old has been in excellent form for the 20-time English champions during the 2022-23 campaign, scoring 27 times in all competitions, in addition to registering 10 assists.
Rashford's apparent injury will be a huge concern for the Red Devils at a vital stage of the season.
The team are next in action against Sevilla on Thursday, welcoming the Spanish side to Old Trafford for the first leg of their quarter-final clash in the Europa League.
Man United have another six games to come in April, including an FA Cup semi-final with Brighton & Hove Albion, with the club still active in three competitions.

"We have to be more clinical and more ruthless and this game has to be finished by half time and we didn't. But it is still a very good performance and it is still a big compliment to the team," Ten Hag said in a separate interview with BBC Sport.
The Dutchman also claimed that Bruno Fernandes was "the best player on the pitch" against Everton.
"I think he was brilliant and he has played brilliant in a deeper role and even last week against Newcastle he played very well and today - brilliant. He was definitely the best player on the pitch," he added.
Man United's hectic schedule also saw them lose Luke Shaw to what looked to be a hamstring injury against Brentford last Wednesday, and he was not involved in the contest with Everton on Saturday.
