Sergio Aguero believes that the Manchester derby will play a huge part in determining who will lift the Premier League trophy this season.
Manchester City seemed to be out of the race for the coveted top spot after arch rivals Manchester United stretched their lead to eight points following their 2-0 win over Queens Park Rangers on Saturday, while City stumbled to a 1-0 defeat to Arsenal hours later.
Despite the increased gap in the table, the Red Devils have dropped their advantage to five points after suffering a surprise loss to Wigan Athletic last night, while Roberto Mancini's side got back to winning ways with a 4-0 thrashing of West Bromwich Albion.
"Football is strange," Aguero told BBC Radio Manchester. "When United come here [on April 30] we will see what happens.
"The supporters gave us the message that Wigan had scored and it was one more thing to make us happy during our game because we were winning.
"It is important now that we go to Norwich and win the game. We're looking forward to the next game and hopefully we will win."
The Manchester rivals have five games left to play in the season.
