Manchester United have reportedly given up their chase for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho and Chelsea forward Callum Hudson-Odoi.
The teenage England internationals were rumoured to be prime targets for the Red Devils as part of a big summer rebuild under new boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Solskjaer had prioritised bringing in Sancho, who has more assists than any other player in Europe's top five league this term, while Hudson-Odoi was seen as a back-up option.
According to the Daily Mail, however, United have had to give up their pursuit of the young pair as their respective clubs maintain that they do not wish to sell this summer.
Instead of wasting time trying to persuade Dortmund and Chelsea to cash in, the report indicates that Solskjaer will now look elsewhere for a new wideman.
A right-back and two midfielders are also believed to be on Solskjaer's wishlist, with Crystal Palace's Aaron Wan-Bissaka a known target.
