Atletico Madrid reportedly ponder a £15m bid for Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez, who is outlined as a potential replacement for Radamel Falcao.

Atletico Madrid are reportedly eager to clinch the signature of Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez as they prepare to replace Radamel Falcao.

The Spanish club are likely to relinquish Falcao, who has been linked to clubs all around Europe, and it is believed that Mexico international Hernandez has been placed at the top of Atletico's wishlist.

It is understood that the Spanish outfit are willing to pay £15m for the 24-year-old and United are thought to be open to offers, according to Goal.com.

Hernandez has netted 12 goals for the Red Devils this season but the frontman has slipped behind Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie in the pecking order.
