Chelsea and Manchester United are set to battle for the signature of Lyon defender Malo Gusto.
Gusto has been a prominent figure in the Lyon team this season, starting 13 of the club's 14 Ligue 1 games, and his performances have led to reports of a possible departure.
According to Sports Illustrated, Chelsea and Man United are both looking to sign the right-back when the transfer window reopens in January.
With Man United prepared to let Aaron Wan-Bissaka leave the club in January, they have identified Gusto as a possible replacement, who could provide competition to Diogo Dalot.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have previously enquired about signing the 19-year-old, and they are keen to bring in backup for Reece James.
Gusto, who is under contract until June 2024, has made 52 appearances for Lyon, chipping in with six assists.
