Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea is reportedly one of three players on Juventus's transfer wishlist for the upcoming windows.

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea is reportedly one of three players wanted by Juventus during the upcoming transfer windows.

De Gea's future at Old Trafford has come into question as contract talks continue to rumble on, with the Spaniard's current deal due to expire at the end of the season.

United have the option to extend that by a further 12 months, but a failure to agree fresh terms before next summer could force them to cash in on their star asset in order to avoid losing him for a cut-price fee - or even for nothing - the following season.

De Gea is understood to have concerns over United's ability to challenge for the biggest trophies, and Tuttosport reports that Juventus are hopeful of offering the 28-year-old an escape route.

Juve are in the market for a top-class goalkeeper after letting Gianluigi Buffon leave the club during the summer, with former Arsenal shot-stopper Wojciech Szczesny currently number one in Turin.

The Italian giants would fit the bill for De Gea's trophy ambitions, having won the Serie A title seven years in a row, the Coppa Italia four years in a row and established themselves amongst the favourites for Champions League success.

Juventus are also thought to be considering moves for Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves and James Rodriguez, who is currently on loan at Bayern Munich from Real Madrid.
